Ground works are progressing on our Block E project at Shannon with bulk excavation works now complete. Piling in ongoing since the middle of August and was completed yesterday, the 25th of August. Dynamic and integrity testing of piles has begun and continues on schedule. Work continues to progress well in Earls Well, Cork. Of the twelve houses, eight are now roofed and slated. As work continues on the remaining houses, several are prepared for electrical fixtures and ceiling installation. Site footpaths have been brought to connect half the houses in the development with the remainder to be completed in the coming fortnight. Works have been completed on sections 416-418 of Croke Park’s Premium level. The refurbishment included the installation of a new wood effect panel flooring, alterations and new re-alignment of the existing bar. Scoil Mocheallóg’s students and staff in Killmallock will be arriving back to a new school this autumn! Works have recently been completed to the Iveagh Suite at the Conrad Hotel. This space has been entirely stripped out and refitted incorporating warm timber, leathers and velvets. Huge work is going ahead at our site in Shannon, Block E, where bulk excavations have begun early this week. The progress is quickly followed up with the installation of filtration and sedimentation beds in laid in the ground. These treat water as it leaves the site. Even the rain can’t dampen the work ethic on site, which is strong with these substantal steps forward in the construction process. By the end of July this year, Townmore is scheduled to complete the final works on the Conrad Hotel Dublin. The 18-month project involved the renovation and complete phased upgrade of the entire hotel. This included 192 bedrooms, the ground floor foyer, the reception area, the bar, the restaurant and function rooms. Townmore were pleased to attend the official opening of one of our recently completed projects, Abbey Community College in Ferrybank. The new build, a two-storey, stand-alone extension to the existing school building comprises 3,215 square metres of space as well as a new on-site bus and car park set down facilities, new paved external social space including amphitheatre and works to the existing site entrance. The HSE owned four storey over basement building is getting a complete refurbishment with many of the original features being restored to their former glory to provide for a new Communications Centre.
