Construction of a New Administration building for Dew Valley Foods, Thurles, Co Tipperary. The construction consisted of a steel frame 2 storey building with a Tegral Textural cladding finish, planar glazed atrium area and a natural clad limestone stairwell to the front of the building. The inside of the building consisted of fully fitted out reception, offices, kitchen, labourites, board room and toilet areas. The total floor area was approximately 968m2 and 460m2 of roof. The building was designed and constructed to accommodate an additional floor in the future.
External ground works included paved footpaths, wearing course macadam on roads and car parking areas.Feature limestone paved entrance and limestone entrance walling with security controlled turnstiles.Soft landscaping to Architects detail.
Consisted of traditional concrete strip foundations and pads with rising Blockwork to ground floor level.
Structural steel frame, with metal deck and structural concrete first floor and roof slab, with a ground floor slab on grade.
The building was cladded externally with a Tegral Textural architectural panel along with planar glazing and natural limestone. Internally there was a mixture of floor finishes, glass walls, de mountable partitions and grid ceilings.
The mechanical services consisted of Air Conditioning, soils and wastes, low pressure domestic cold water with under sink heaters. The electrical services consisted of lighting, data, sockets, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intruder alarm and links to the existing factory
