Description

The completion of the construction of a new three-storey building comprising a general purpose room, general purpose store, staff room, home school liaison room, wc’s, lift, 6 no classrooms, 2 no resource rooms, 1 no multipurpose room including the remedial works required to the existing installations. Approx. 1300m2

The alteration / extension / refurbishment of the existing listed school consisting of 4 classrooms, library, offices and toilets in a build of approx. 700m2 – total build area of 2000m2

All associated services and site works including removal of existing prefabricated units.

Phase 1 will involve the completion of the new build with the school decanting to occupy same in order that phase 2 the refurbishment of the existing school can commence

External Work

Wearing course macadam to car park areas, select brick paving to feature areas

Substructure

Deep mass concrete infill on ground beams on reinforced suspended slab

Superstructure

Reinforced concrete frame with fair faced insitu concrete floor slabs to form ceiling finishes. External finishes combine’s clay brick with sweet chestnut cladding with 10m high curtained wall sweet chestnut windows to east elevation. Ballasted trocal flat roof system

Finishes

Sandblasted and polished finish to concrete stairs and slabs with vinyl finish to selected floor areas. Suspended Junckers floor to GP hall area.

Services

New surface water and foul sewer pipework connected to Local Authority sewers and on site attenuation system.
